Condolences on the death of cardiac surgeon Renat Akchurin

Renat Akchurin, an outstanding Soviet and Russian
cardiac surgeon, clinician, Deputy Director General for Surgery at the National
Medical Research Centre of Cardiology, and member of the Russian Academy
of Sciences, died on October 6 aged 78.
